Arts vs. Crafts: What’s the Difference?

Art focuses on creative, personal expression with an emotional impact, like painting, drawing, and sculpting.

Crafts emphasize skill and functionality, often involving making functional or decorative objects such as wood, pottery, jewelry, textiles, or knitting.

Mixed Media is a combination of both, combining two or more elements to create something unique. Examples of materials are paint, ink, glue, paper, fabric, glass, and found objects.
